Olive Schreiner Centenary

Olive Schreiner died in the midnight hours of 11 December 1920, so this is the centenary of her death. She was only 65 years old, but had suffered great ill-health, including severe asthma and an inherited family heart condition. She accomplished much, as a writer and as a critic of imperialism and capitalism. She appears to have been a thoroughly nice woman, and opinionated in the very best sense of the word. She is remembered.
