The Great Cory Library Fieldtrip! Blog 9, To the Cradock Festival

Thurs 24 July: Today is the start of the Schreiner Karoo Writers Festival in Cradock2Cradock. The programme is excellent, full of interesting things including a new Neville Alexander book and a reading by Stephan Gray among other goodies. We’re staying in the Victoria Manor and I for one am anticipating a shower that doesn’t trying to kill me. In part we’re attending because the book of Schreiner letters that I and Andrea have edited – The World’s Great Question: Olive Schreiner’s South African Letters – is being launched there, which is exciting and much anticipated. So, we’re off to see the Festival, the wonderful Festival in Cradock! Blogs for the next 2 days will be intermittent but we hope filled with news.
