Auto/biography and everyday life, 3 December 2021 CALL for PAPERS

Auto/biography and everyday life, 3 December 2021
CALL for PAPERS

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for this year’s Auto/Biography Christmas conference entitled ‘Auto/Biography and everyday life: a celebration of the work and legacy of David Morgan’. We are delighted that the keynote will be given by Professor Liz Stanley, and will be concerned with biographical practices, conventions, and silences.

We invite your abstract submissions (250 words) for a 30-minute oral presentation followed by 15-minutes of discussion. We welcome papers from across the broadest range of auto/biographical work, including ‘work-in-progress’ and innovative approaches. The conferences generate a rich, supportive environment for the development of academic work in the field of auto/biography and we hope you will join us. As a result of the current and unpredictable Covid-19 context, we have taken the difficult decision to run the conference online again.

Please submit your abstract electronically here by Sunday 31st October 2021 at 23:59: https://brunel.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/bsa-autobiography-study-group-christmas-conference-2021-. Please note, we are unable to accept abstracts via e-mail.
