Thursday 31 July: As readers may have noticed, these blogs are about collective matters but (almost entirely) written by one person, Liz. This is how it’s turned out and has not been a plan or strategy. It’s just that Sue has retired and resolutely won’t do things she doesn’t actively want to, so is happy to work in the archive but not to write surrounding stuff. Also, Andrea does all the mechanics of putting the blogs and any accompanying photos on the website, without which the blogs wouldn’t exist as such. And both of them contribute to the discussions that produce the topics. So the blogs on one level have sole authorship, but actually they are the product of a grounded process involving all three of us.
