WWW Website Use

WWW Website Use

Some very encouraging news from Google Analytics about use of the WWW website. Google Analytics is a standard plug-in on the WWW website which provides a monthly outline of its use. This includes what countries users are in, how much time is spent on the site, what pages are used most. This is very broadbrush country-wide anonymous information – it’s about website use, not about users –  and it’s very helpful in planning new additions etc to the pages.

And the encouraging news? Comparing two periods of time, the just over fifteen months Jan 14 to mid April 15, and a similar period when the website was first available, the following points jump out:

  • The number of users has doubled
  • The number of return sessions (how many times on average users visit the website) has significantly increased
  • These increases are distributed across every single one of the countries that users are located in
  • The main groups of users are in the UK, South Africa, U.S., Canada, Australia, Germany, Zambia, Netherlands, Italy and Ireland

A warm thank you, to all users of the WWW website! Please do spread the word by telling other interested people about its existence. And also – if you have ideas for new features or additions to those already there, then contact us and we’ll do our best to provide them.
